Veracruz, Panama—population 28,000. Over half are unemployed, with many single moms trying to make it on their own. It’s a place full of beauty, but also deep need.
Here’s something that hit us hard: our water shuts off once or twice a week—not due to shortage, but so it can be rerouted to neighborhoods with even less. That’s humbling.
Schools have barely reopened after a long teachers’ strike, and now students themselves are blocking roads, keeping learning out of reach again. A pattern is starting… and it’s threatening the future of the next generation.
But there’s hope—and we believe God is stirring something.
Our first community event is planned for September 18th—and we can’t wait to share more soon!
