As he steps down from this role, he and his family are engaging in a new role in Panama, following God's call to serve.
Meet Jenna: Jenna brings a wealth of experience as a special education teacher and a kids' director at a local church. Her heart for helping children and families shines through in everything she does. In Panama, Jenna's focus is on supporting families and ensuring that children have the opportunity to grow up in safe, loving environments.
Bridging Panama: The Lewis family is following God's call to serve in Panama! After years of ministry and preparation, they are finally on the ground in Panama. Their focus is on strengthening and ensuring families, making sure they receive the care they need, and walking alongside local communities to bring hope and healing. As they are there, they look forward to building relationship, assessing needs, and serving however God leads!
Veracruz, Panama is a community of around 28,000 people where over half the population is unemployed, and many families are led by single mothers struggling to provide. Access to basic needs like water is inconsistent, and education is frequently disrupted due to strikes and roadblocks, leaving children without stability or structure. It’s a
beautiful place with incredible people—but there is a deep need for support, opportunity, and hope.
On September 18, 2025, we are partnering with Valor Compartido to be part of a large-scale community event in Veracruz, Panama, designed to serve thousands of local residents. This gathering will unite families, leaders, and volunteers to meet real needs—especially in the area of medical care. We’re helping provide supplies, supporting local doctors and medical students, and even working to bring a small team from the U.S. to join us. This event is a key opportunity to build relationships, serve the community well, and open doors for long-term ministry impact.
