Meet the Lewis Family!
At the heart of our family is a deep passion for Jesus and a calling to share His love wherever He leads. With five kids and two energetic dogs, our home is always full of life and laughter. But beyond the busyness of family life, what drives us is the desire to see families strengthened, children cared for, and communities transformed by the hope of the Gospel. God has placed in us a vision to walk alongside people, build relationships, and create lasting impact rooted in His love.
Meet Bill:
Bill is pursuing his master’s degree at seminary while stepping into this next season of ministry. For over 20 years, he poured his heart into helping children with severe heart disease receive life-saving surgeries as the founder and director of an international non-profit. Now, with the same compassion and dedication, he is answering God’s call in Panama—leading with vision, faith, and a heart to serve.
Meet Jenna:
Jenna has spent years as a special education teacher and a kids’ director at church. She has a gift for seeing the potential in every child and coming alongside families with encouragement and care. In Panama, her heart beats for supporting families and creating safe, loving environments where children can grow, thrive, and discover the hope of Jesus.
Bridging Panama:
After years of prayer, preparation, and ministry experience, our family has stepped into this new chapter in Panama. Our mission is to come alongside families and communities, listening, learning, and building relationships that open doors for hope and healing. We are providing medical needs, supporting schools, and walking with families—always sharing the Gospel as we serve. We believe God has called us to be His hands and feet here, and we want everyone to know the hope of Jesus.
Just outside Panama City lies a community of around 28,000 people where over half the population is unemployed, and many families are led by single mothers struggling to provide. Access to basic needs like water is inconsistent, and education is often disrupted due to strikes and roadblocks, leaving children without stability or structure. It’s a beautiful place with incredible people — but there is also a deep need for support, opportunity, and hope.
On September 20th, we will be helping with a health fair that will serve thousands of local residents. We’ll be providing medical supplies, supporting local doctors and medical students, and even have some friends coming from the States to join us. This special day will bring together families, leaders, and volunteers to meet real needs—especially in the area of medical care. Beyond the health fair itself, it’s an incredible opportunity to build relationships, strengthen the community, and open doors for long-term ministry impact as we continue to share the hope of the gospel.
