The countdown is on! Our health fair is almost here, and today we’re having our final board meeting to make sure everything is ready. We are so excited to see how God will use this event to bless families in Veracruz.
For many here, even simple health care is out of reach. A blood pressure check costs just $1, and a taxi ride to the clinic and back adds another $1–2—an amount many families simply can’t afford. Some are also living on only one meal a day. This is why the health fair matters so much—it’s about meeting real needs while sharing the love of Jesus.
We are incredibly grateful for the way God has provided. Every person who comes will receive hygiene bags (thanks to our home church, NorthPointe), along with free screenings, medications, dewormers, vitamins, and a much-needed meal. Our close friends are traveling from the States to join us and are bringing so many much-needed supplies—things that will not only bless this event but also future medical clinics.
A special note of gratitude goes to the family and friends of Blake McIntire, who are so dear to us. Part of the funding for this event comes from Blake’s memorial, and we are humbled and honored that his legacy is now helping provide care, nourishment, and the opportunity for families to hear the gospel and experience hope. It’s such a beautiful way to see God’s love flow through friendship, remembrance, and service.
Please pray with us as we step into this big week—that each person would not only receive practical care but also experience the hope, comfort, and love of Christ in every interaction.
