Gabriel and Rebecca with their three children, Leon (8) and Haven (5), and Maranatha (1) are missionaries at the Youth with a Mission Grimerud, Norway base since August 2024. Rebecca and Gabriel have been in ministry together since before they were engaged in 2013. With experience from youth ministry, and co-leading prayer services to livestream filming and assisting with church planting, they feel called long term to Norway to minister in the form of prayer and worship. As creatives themselves, Gabriel (film maker) and Rebecca (writer) feel a deep calling to help tell stories of how God is moving in Europe (and beyond) with hopes to strengthen houses of prayer by telling their testimonies of God's faithfulness. Car!
We have been living as a family of 5 in Norway on a farm that’s a 10 minute drive to civilization. We’ve made it work but have had to miss ministry invitations because borrowing a car fell through at the last minute. So many friends with families on our missionary base tell us they don’t know how we’ve made it this long without a car. And so, as we’ve been told by so many friends and our ministry leaders , it’s time for a car of our own. We are looking for 3 new monthly donors to help with the upkeep of the car and EU registration specs being met. We also need to raise money to buy the car! To repair a car that is older in Norway is very expensive compared to America. It is often cheaper in the long run to get a newer car even though the sticker price may be more expensive. If you bought an older car it would end up being the same amount/more than you would spend on a newer car, because of the frequent repairs needed. We plan to stay in Norway another 3 years, so we’d like this car to last us our time here at least! So for those who’d like to help on a one time donation basis, this is an opportunity for you! We are so grateful to all of you who can give/pray for provision to come in!
