Hi, my name is Holli and I am 39 years old. I spent the first 37 years of my life completely lost. I come from a broken childhood and found Jesus in my high school years in a girls’ home in west Texas, but with no foundations rooted in Christ I quickly turned from him in my early adult years seeking the love I thought I was worthy of. This led me down a path of further brokenness which eventually landed me in jail with drug charges in my second relapse on drugs, alone and looking at prison time. I fervently returned to the Lord and started seeking his plan for my life and sobriety and then found out I was pregnant. A plan was made to go to Fatherheart, a Christian maternity home within the ministry of Living Alternatives in East Texas, to pursue a loving Christian family for my unborn son through adoption with their agency, Loving Alternatives, before I moved on to rehab. I was ready to let God lead me to the family, community and call of purpose he had for my life. We know God is good, all the time and faithful and what started out as a plan to be at Fatherheart for a few weeks has turned into 2 years. I have stayed with Fatherheart and Living Alternatives through the program and attended a DTS with YWAM Tyler and now serve as a volunteer live in house staff at the maternity home. I am helping the amazing people who became the family I had always prayed for in our mission to bring worth, value, dignity and Jesus to women and their babies as they change their lives for the better. My life verse John 5:17 states …and Jesus said to them “My Father is always working to this very day. And I too am working”. The Lord is steadfast and faithful and I am so excited and honored to be serving God in this way. Please pray and consider partnering with me on this journey God has placed me on. It’s mission is to bring Value, Worth and Dignity to all those involved in an unplanned pregnancy. Operating for 40 years the ministry consists of a Pregnancy Resource Center (Axia), which provides free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to any women in need. Various programs including Building Blocks, a mentorship/ rewards program helping to walk with mothers and fathers through the pregnancy. and provide necessities. A Doula program and many others. Our mobile unit, Ruth, which frequents the small underserved towns surrounding the area providing free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds on site by walk in or appointment. Fatherheart our maternity home in Lindale, a beautiful home for women to come to in crisis through their pregnancy and aftercare with their children where the women are in a loving environment of discipleship and learning how to care for their babies. Lastly, Loving Alternatives our state licensed and Christ centered adoption agency, whose mission is to provide adoptive families and solutions that meet the needs of everyone involved in the adoption story.
