ABOUT INSPIRE

The Inspire Movement is an international network of people committed to developing Missional Discipleship in the leadership and life of the church. Our vision is to help all Christians live as whole-life disciples and everyday missionaries, who abide deeply with God and live missionally in the world.

Although Inspire is an ecumenical movement, it draws upon the wisdom of John Wesley who pioneered a world-changing movement of missional disciples. At the heart of this movement is discipleship as a Way of Life:

• Seeking growth in the love of God
• Using disciplines as a means of grace
• Sharing fellowship with spiritual friends
• Engaging mission through love of neighbor

These form the basic DNA for renewing the disciple-making practices in local churches, for starting up Fellowship Bands, House Fellowships, and for church planting teams.

ABOUT  US

Brian is an ordained pastor in the Global Methodist Church, a seminary professor, and both an academic and ministry consultant. As a stay-at-home mom, Misty homeschools our daughter, helps with the ministry, and is overall Chaos Coordinator.

We have three children. Our oldest, Matthew, is married and they blessed us with our first grandchild in 2020. Daniel is out on his own working in communications, and our daughter Sarah is home with us, at least for a couple more years.

In the Fall of 2021, God called our family to step out in faith and follow Him into the unknown. After serving with the Inspire Movement for over 10 years, Brian felt called to devote even more time to this missional discipleship ministry.

Our family now travels to various communities and churches training leaders to engage in missional discipleship, as well as mentoring bands and house fellowships.

In order to be obedient to the full-time ministry vision we believe we have been given, we are fundraising the support we need for our basic living and ministry expenses. We would like to invite you to join us on this new and exciting journey God has called us on. You may not be ready to join us on the road (though you are always welcome!), but there are many ways you can be a part of what God is going to be doing through this ministry.
