We are Susan & Ishak living and serving among the least reached in Southeast Asia. Ishak and Susan were already living out their calling for cross-cultural work when they met on the field.
Using contextual and relational ministry, we use creative ways to reach, mentor, and disciple those around us. Ishak coaches young men and women at a soccer club and leadership development center. Susan works with young adults in an interfaith peacemaking community as well as serving in a local women's prison.
Our hope is to bring hope, dignity, truth, and sustainability to our community as we engage in holistic ministries.
Our focus of service is for the majority people group in our region, the S people, ranked in the top ten largest unreached people groups in the world (according to Joshua Project 2022 data). Ishak serves this community through engaging young people through soccer and mentoring. Susan engages with young adults and incarcerated women.
Susan is heading up an English Immersion Program in our city. The holistic, live-in program is designed to help locals improve their English skills though formal instruction, small group conversation groups, outings, inter-faith dialogue, and self-reflection. We are looking for help to provide scholarships so that the cost of the program is not preventative for participants. $35 USD is enough to cover one participant. We are hopeful to help 20 participants for the 2022 program. If you are willing and able to support our scholarship program, simply type "English Village" in the "Note" box on the donation page. Thank you!
