My life was full of darkness. A darkness so real that I couldn't see my own hands in front of me. The same hands that were used for sin. My demons were strong, my chains were heavy, but His blood set me free. So if anything good ever comes from my existence, just know, it didn't come from me. It comes from Him who saved me and gave me this mission.

Hello there! My name is Joshua. I am a son of God and a nerd. I've been a nerd for as long as I can remember. Because of this I know how much influence things in pop culture can have on people. That's why they need to be used for the Gospel! To do this I've created two YouTube channels: CrossUpTV & PYCrossUp.

The CrossUpTV channel will be used for the “Bible comedy shorts” series as well as Christian film breakdowns. The Bible comedy shorts series is where I break down Bible stories in a comedic way. I got the idea from watching secular YouTubers doing comedic commentary on anime. Then I wondered what that style of video would look like without the vulgar language and better source material (the Bible). There were also times where I would be reading the Bible and something funny would happen. Like Goliath talking trash to David just to be defeated in 2 seconds. My hope with this series is that people can have a good laugh while seeds are being planted.

Next is the PYCrossUp channel.

1 Peter 2:12 says “Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.”

The gaming community is so toxic that acting like a somewhat decent human being is enough to get people's attention. This is sad but is exactly why the community needs to hear about Jesus. My goal in the gaming community is to show people Jesus through the content I make. Whether that be a funny gaming commentary video or a live stream. My goal is to build a community that leads by example and shows the gaming community that you don't need to give into degenerate culture to be a gamer.
