Hey Friends! My name is Zach. I am a 19 year old, second generation missionary with a passion for building the Kingdom of God. I grew up watching first my parents, then my older siblings build a mission-based life both in the states and overseas, and their 30 year-long legacy has inspired me to pursue the same course.
In January of 2022 I attended a Discipleship Training School with YWAM in Marseille France. The things I learned there and the people I met completely changed my world view. I went from working hard at being the best that I could be, to working to build the Kingdom of God the best I could. During the school, I was able to experience many different aspects of ministry, both in Lebanon and North Africa. The difficulties I faced in both of those countries lead me to realize that the best way to experience and see God in everything is not to shy away from discomfort and hardship, no matter where you are. I have always had it in my heart to make a big impact with my life. To be someone who had done something worthwhile by the end of their life. I had no idea what that something would be, until I felt God calling me into missions. In January of 2023, I will enter into a two-year commitment with the staff of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Marseille. I will be staffing the same DTS that so impacted my life, as well as investing in the community around the base and learning to lead different parts of the ministry as a whole. Until January, I am taking a step back to study, attend an online Bible School to further my training and support my calling as a teacher, and volunteering at a YWAM base in Vanuatu—a collection of islands in the South Pacific.
