Surviving Child Loss is a multimedia ministry aimed at helping those navigating profound grief. Through our documentary work and interviews with bereaved parents, we provide comfort and hope to the grieving, offering real stories and honest conversations about suffering and the Christian faith.
Born from personal loss, our mission is to bridge the gap where traditional support often fails. We believe in the power of storytelling to bring comfort, understanding, and hope.
Our ministry serves through online media resources for bereaved parents and those who want to know how to minister to them.
Our current production slate:
Surviving Child Loss, The Conversations. A docuseries of 15 episodes of interviews with bereaved parents and caregivers. Each episode runs from 40 to 75 minutes.
Surviving Child Loss Shorts. A series of 6 mini-documentaries each under 10 minutes in length. These impactful narratives are birthed from the interviews. As they are shorter and more cinematic, they will be more accessible.
Surviving Child Loss The Documentary. A feature length cinematic lament that tells the story of the Shaffer family tragedy and their struggle to survive with the help of their church and other bereaved parents. The film will offer perspectives on the sanctifying work of suffering, finding God in the pain, and rejoicing in the hope of Christ.
Your support helps us to produce these resources for those walking through the darkest valleys. Join us in bringing light to those who need it most.
