Roles And Responsibilities

Our roles and responsibilities in 247 Church Global are:

• Serving on the church leadership team.
• Disciplining believers in the church.
• Global missions.
• Local outreach.
• Global Missions School administration.
• Leading church serve teams. 
• Serving in the worship team.
• Serving in the sound team.
• Serving during Sunday gatherings.
• Building maintenance and up-keep.
• Media, sound, and instrument infrastructure coordination and maintenance.
• Assisting with content creation and transcriptions of written materials.

Our roles and responsibilities within the church are always growing, and 247 Church Global is expanding into new expressions. We serve the local church in many of these expressions, and take on more responsibilities as the Lord leads us.

Our primary focus as leaders in 247 Church Global is to know Jesus, and that others would come to know Him. We value connection within the community, healthy discipleship, and ministering to the Lord. We have a passion for local outreach, and believe that we will reach out city by discipling families. We yearn deeply for the Great Commission and taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached.

 

Global Missions

247 Church Global has committed to 10/40 window. The dream of God is that every lost son and daughter would be saved, and we have committed to serving in completing the Great Commission. We believe that the gospel has the power to transform and save entire cities, regions and people groups, and we have taken personal responsibility to labor with Jesus to this end. 3.29 billion people in the 10/40 are classified as unreached. These people have never heard the name of Jesus. These people are why we travel into these regions. We have accepted responsibility to take the gospel and the truth of Jesus Christ to them. We are committed to participating in missions into these nations to see the Great Commission fulfilled, and sons and daughters returned to their Father.

This includes multiple trips into the 10/40 window every year, and building with local communities of believers in these regions. This is a long-term commitment for us, and a significant aspect of what we feel God has assigned us to do.

Local Outreach

247 Church global is passionate about our own city. We do not only desire to see people saved in unreached nations, but in Johannesburg as well. Cities are reached by discipling families. As leaders in 247 Church Global, we are excited to see God move in the families and individuals in our city. We participate in home groups as well as men’s ministry, and conduct worship events, evening gatherings, prayer gatherings, and Sunday services. These events are the way we serve and reach our city. 247 Church Global has seen many lives saved, and many people touched by the Lord in these gatherings. We will enthrone Jesus as a community, exalt Him over our city, and do everything we can to serve the people of Johannesburg, for the glory of the Lord.  

We are closely involved in all areas of our church, and have a deep love for our community. We are committed to seeing everyone who joins 247 Church Global come closer to Jesus, and become a close member of the family of God.

What We Are Asking For

We invite our partners to co-labor with us in the service of the Great Commission, to see Johannesburg, South Africa, and the Nations transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our partners become workers with us in everything that we do locally and trans-locally, and become partakers of the same reward. As leaders in 247 Church Global, our partners become involved in everything that the local church does, and adds to every life that is touched by our church locally and internationally.

The same reward is reaped by those who sow and those who go. We do not seek the gift, but the fruit that abounds from the giving.

By partnering with us, we gain the ability to be effective in our own country and the nations in the 10/40 window, preaching the gospel, serving communities, transforming lives with the gospel, and seeing many people come to Jesus.

Financial Contributions

All financial contributions are appreciated. There is no maximum or minimum limit, we only ask that contributions are consistent. Contributions will be allocated to tithe, living expenses, and mission trips abroad and within South Africa. We believe in transparency and accountability. Detailed financial reports will be provided to ensure these standards are upheld.  

Submissions To Leadership

We are submitted to 247 Church Global, and fall under the guidance and leadership of the Elders in the church. We are fully committed to 247 Church Global and consider the core values and vision of the church the foundation of what we do. We remain accountable to our Elders in 247 Church Global, and submit all that we do in ministry to the service if the house.

The Vision of 247 Church Global is to be a people living a life of daily encounters and relationship with Jesus Christ, enabling them to live in the grace and freedom of the Holy Spirit and empowering them to go and transform our city by demonstrating Kingdom culture and seeing Isaiah 61:1-3 fulfilled in the lives of individuals, families and the nations. We are an apostolic community with a priestly rhythm of life, and have taken personal responsibility to take the gospel to the nations. Our occupation is the face of God.

The Revelation Of Jesus

Our lives are built on the revelation of Jesus and relationship with HIm. He is our calling and our pursuit.

 

Cultivating Environments Of The Presence Of God

We value the presence of God above all else. In all we do, we want to cultivate and honor the atmosphere and environment of worship and prayer that ministers to the Lord.

 

A Culture Of Honor

We believe in creating a culture that honors the Holy Spirit, honors the leadership of the local church, and honors one another. We believe that honor creates an atmosphere for Holy Spirit to bring reconciliation and transformation to every heart.

 

Discipling Cities By Reaching Families

We believe in family and we believe that family changes culture. We desire to see the lovely placed in families, and to see families transformed by the gospel so that we can see cities and regions reached.

 

The Unreached

We are committed to taking worship and the gospel to unreached people groups and regions until every tribe, tongue, and nation has head and sings of the worth of Jesus.

 

What You Can Expect From Us

A monthly newsletter documenting and explaining all that we involved with, all that the Lord has done, and what is being outworked in the ministry. A monthly video to accompany the news letter, providing more details and deeper explanations.

A quarterly/annual in-person visit with each partner (depending on location), to connect, provide updates, grow together, pray together, seek the Lord together, and develop deeper relationship. Bi-annual video conferences with all partners, to connect, share, update, and define vision going forward.

Everything that we do accomplish, participate in, establish, complete, and work on as a family and leaders in the church becomes part of the inheritance and reward of those who co-labor with us. All fruit that we bear all rewards given, all blessings received, our partners become partakers of. We become joint in this endeavor and everything that we receive is for our partners as well.
