Our Story & Calling

We have had the privilege of serving in ministry together as a married couple since 2004. Even before that, we were each deeply involved in walking alongside peers, youth, and families through life’s challenges. Serving others has always been at the heart of who we are.

Shortly after marrying in Colorado, we stepped into our first pastoral role as college pastors at a large interdenominational church in Omaha. From there, God continued to lead us into church planting, pastoral support, youth and college ministry, missions work, and living intentionally in under-resourced communities—always seeking to love people the way Jesus does. Alongside our five children, we have helped plant and support several churches and ministries across the United States and have led mission trips around the world. Most recently, we served on staff with Christ For the City International, caring for missionaries and ministry leaders.

Of all the ministries we have been part of, pastoral counseling has consistently drawn us closest to people’s hearts.

For Heather, this calling began early—friends, classmates, and even her late father would often come to her for wisdom, prayer, and a listening ear. For Kevin, it emerged during and after his service in the U.S. Air Force, where coworkers, friends, and youth regularly sought him out for guidance during difficult seasons. In every setting—church, military, missions, or family life—we found ourselves walking with people through pain, transition, and healing.

After more than two decades of ministry together, we sense a clear invitation from the Lord to focus our time and energy on a pastoral counseling ministry—helping individuals, couples, and families find healing and wholeness in spirit, mind, and body.

We are being biblically trained and licensed as pastoral counselors through the National Christian Counselors Association, an organization with nearly 40 years of experience. We are currently supervised and provisionally licensed through Nebraska117.org. God is helping us build on over 20 years of hands-on pastoral care within churches and ministries. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and an undergraduate degree in Counseling from Oral Roberts University. Kevin brings decades of pastoral ministry and missions experience, shaped by deep relational work and Spirit-led care.

Together, we rely on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to bring true transformation. We have witnessed God bring physical, emotional, and spiritual healing—and we remain humbled by what only He can do.

We are choosing to live intentionally in Omaha and to remain rooted in our local church so that people can encounter love, grow in hope, and place their faith in Jesus. We believe transformation happens through presence, relationship, and time—and we are grateful to walk this journey with you.
