Many of you know me well, but what you might NOT know is that I started working with non-profit organizations in 1985. And over the last 4 decades, I’ve traveled and worked in almost 80 countries and with hundreds of churches and non-profit ministries. God has given me a great love for the Church, and the incredible varied ways His people are demonstrating His love all over the world. I LOVE the way God is raising up ordinary people to lead and bring hope to this broken world!! From a young age, I loved the Lord and I’ve had a heart to support and build up His people so they can live out their God-given purpose. I am thrilled to have the privilege to come alongside incredible men and women who are called to bring good news to the poor, set captives free, bind up the broken-hearted and release prisoners from darkness (Is 61)! God has gifted me as a teacher/trainer, and coach/counselor with an enthusiasm for strategy, structure and Kingdom ways. So, I delight in being able to use these gifts to support, build up and strengthen leaders in their calling! When they are fruitful, God is glorified and that is my greatest joy!
Ministry Focus
The world needs courageous Christ-compelled non-profits and leaders. Venture 1:9 (based on Joshua 1:9) guides these kind of non-profit leaders to a place of courage, health, sustainability and impact, through FREE training, coaching and granting when leaders need it the most. - Training events provide more than valuable content. They are gatherings of fellow leaders on the journey where relationships are formed for encouragement, partnership and collaboration.
- Coaching is customized for each non-profit specific needs. Coaching is available one-on-one or for staff and broader leadership teams.
- Granting is provided by financial partners who feel called to infuse specific projects with financial resources to help these projects grow in their reach and impact.
I am also trained and certified to provide trauma, leadership and transition coaching and Biblical counseling. While God promises to always be with us and to work all things together for good to those who love Him, He does not promise that we won’t face hardships, loss and deep wounding. In hard times, we need skilled, trained and called people who can walk with us through difficult times, situations and even suffering. I have been doing this for more than 20 years and count it a great privilege to walk with others in these times in ways that God has walked with me and provided wise, caring and skilled people in my life.

How to Pray
- Pray that I would have godly wisdom and be Spirit-led in all my coaching, counseling and training sessions.
- Pray for the ministries in your community and the people leading them as they serve, demonstrate God’s love and bring hope to those who need it.
- Pray for individuals you know who have experienced past and recent trauma that is making life especially challenging. And pray for me as I meet with both individuals and work with organizations to experience freedom and to know how to better serve people overwhelmed by trauma.
- Pray for new ministry partners for both myself and for Venture 1:9 so we can continue serving ministry leaders when they need it most.

God always provides for where He calls us!
