Danica Geesaman is a ministry associate with Hope Fostered. Hope Fostered exists to bring hope to the foster care system through the promotion of needs in the foster community, education of the church and community through Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and other trauma-informed resources, and the meeting of practical needs for those impacted by the foster care system. Danica is a TBRI practitioner who leads the education arm of Hope Fostered. She and our team provide trauma-informed trainings for churches, lead parenting small groups, and provide free one-on-one mentoring and coaching for parents of kids who have experienced trauma. Her passion is to teach anyone and everyone why trauma-informed care is the best guide for how we interact with others, so that we can all know Jesus better by how we treat others and how we receive care. By supporting Danica in her work with Hope Fostered, you are allowing her to devote her time to the creation of materials that will help educate the local church so they can be prepared to love the kids who come from hard places and to dedicate time and energy to parents and groups who desperately need to learn new skills to help guide the children God has entrusted to their care. With your help, we can bring hope to the system.
Hope Fostered exists to bring hope to anyone who has been impacted by the foster care system, including the children and their biological, foster, or adoptive families and the professionals who work in this space.
