Hi, I’m Amanda. And I’m a walking miracle.
I have a terminal illness and was given a dire prognosis and months to live.. over 3 years ago. Now I sum up my story by simply saying, “I am a walking miracle.” Not only am I battling a very rare form of scleroderma, multiple organ failure and many other complications, but I have also broken over 25 bones in the past 4 years. It’s been said multiple times over I wouldn’t survive, doctors have tried to send me to hospice, and I’ve been told I would never walk again.
I still receive ongoing treatment, I use a hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber daily and I live knowing that medicine can’t explain why my heart is still beating and my body is still moving. I don’t know what the future holds, but if I lived life according to what doctors say I would be filled with fear and resigned to the limitations of my disease. Instead, I have chosen to live with unapologetic faith and unending hope.
I write, speak, travel and participate in races as a walking miracle... all with the goal to inspire people to know that hope is always possible and to live their own life as a miracle story.

My passion is spreading my message and that message is the miracle story of my life and how the choice to walk in faith toward an uncertain future has not just added time on earth to a dire prognosis, but has changed the way I see every day, every sunset, and every step.
You don't have to have a terminal diagnosis to be living a life determined by circumstances rather than faith. We all need a prescription for life and the answer… is Hope.
I so passionately believe this is why I’m still here on this earth. I’ve never wanted this miracle to be a math problem, or my life expectancy and mission to be limited by finances… but there is a reality and cost to survival. I believe that with your help, not only will my needs by provided, but my mission can thrive!
