The heart of the ministry is to disciple students to know and understand their God-given gifts and how they can use these gifts for the kingdom. I want to empower students then to take these gifts and use them to disciple others. This is a process of producing leaders across campus that are wanting to grow and lead.
For twenty-two years I have been working with young people who are developing their world views and making sense of the world. At such a critical age, they need adults around them speaking truth and encouraging them in their personal relationship with Jesus. My ministry combines this focus to reach students where they are and lead them to a place of confidence and security.
Missions no longer is just going across an ocean to take the gospel to faraway lands. The need to multiply Christians and raise up strong leaders for the future here is America is strong. The masses are coming to use here on our college campuses, and we need to be available and eager to walk alongside them during their most impactful years so that they are equipped when they leave to do the same all over the world.
Campus Ministry Staff. I work on campus with campus clubs and teams to disciple leaders to be able to disciple students within their ministries. I have served in this role for eight years in the United States and 4 years in Guatemala.
