Dear friends,
Over the past year, the Lord has opened incredible doors for ministry here in Denmark. I currently serve part‑time at a Christian boarding school teaching 17‑year‑olds how to be worship leaders—equipping young believers to serve their churches with confidence, musical skill, and spiritual maturity. It has been a joy to mentor them, teach again, and watch God raise up the next generation of leaders.
Alongside this work, the Lord has expanded opportunities in our local church. I now host a men’s group and Bible study, lead worship regularly, and am beginning to train worship teams in our region in worship, liturgy, and church leadership. There is so much Kingdom work to do, and the doors keep opening.
Denmark is a beautiful country, but the faithful church here is small, and spiritual resistance is real. Most free churches cannot afford full‑time staff, which means much of this ministry happens through faith and calling rather than salary. I still have additional hours each week available for ministry, and I am asking the Lord to provide the support needed so I can step more fully into what He is doing here.
Will you partner with us?
1. Pray
Your prayers mean more than I can express. Pray for strength, protection, open hearts, and for God to move powerfully in Denmark. Pray that worship leaders and young believers here would grow in boldness, maturity, and joy in Christ.
2. Give
If the Lord places it on your heart to support us financially, we partner with a Christian non-profit—Christian Ministry Alliance—which handles all donations and provides tax‑deductible giving for U.S. supporters. Your generosity directly fuels discipleship, worship training, local church ministry, and outreach in a nation deeply in need of the gospel.
Let’s stay connected
I would love to hear from you personally. You can email me at [email protected], or reach out on WhatsApp. I also hope to visit the U.S. soon and would be glad to share a meal, worship together, or visit your church or small group.
Thank you for considering partnering with us. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
In Christ,
Josiah Barrett
